The Beacon Agency, LLC is a fully remote Digital Agency specializing in innovative marketing, advertising, and technology solutions for small businesses. We provide the same quality of product and service as much larger agencies, but at a fraction of the cost and on a much faster timeline. We do this through the creative use of technology and automation.

The Position:

We’re looking for Social Media Specialist. The pay range we’re offering is $20-40/hour, based on experience.

• This is a contract position.
• This position is entry level with room for growth.
• We offer flexible hours, work when you are inspired to do so.
• We also offer the ability to partner on more projects and grow with us.

Requirements:

• Available for requests during US Business Hours, 9a-6p Eastern Time
• US Citizen and Legally Authorized to work in the United States
• Understanding of current Social Media Marketing trends and technologies
• Frequent social media user with an active presence on most major platforms
• Understanding of business use vs. personal use of social media
• Understanding of all business best practices for social media, including terms of service and community standards for all platforms
• Understanding of current digital marketing and technology trends
• Understanding of Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Slides as collaboration tools
• Ability to follow specific, detailed instructions
  • This will be paramount to your success
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Ability to meet all deadlines

  • Update/Add Information to Business Pages
  • Update/Add profile/cover art provided by design team
  • Update/Add Product Information to Shop page
  • Curation of videos into specific playlists
  • Add images, links, and copy to posting queue
• Twitter
  • Update/Add Information to Business Pages
  • Update/Add profile/cover art provided by design team
  • Add images, links, and copy to posting queue
• Instagram
  • Resize and touch-up images
  • Add images and copy to posting queue
  • Update information in Bio Link tool
•  YouTube
  • Update/Add Information to Business Pages
  • Update/Add profile/cover art provided by design team
  • Curation of videos into specific playlists
  • Posting of videos using provided description template

The Location:

The Beacon Agency, LLC is based in Houston, Texas. We employ a full remote workforce, so candidates may live anywhere in the United States.
